A picture can speak a thousand words.

 It has been quite a long time since I have ever used one of these online blogs, but I am in the mood to write down and express my thoughts. This is my third year at Fairleigh Dickinson University which has been the most profound year in my college experience thus far. It is always best to identify oneself with personal attributes rather than externalities such as status and prestige, and I find more and more people lose sight of this.

My name is Adam Christopher English. I am currently the Student Body President at my university. This position, has opened many doors and at times been a source of frustration.  Never identifying myself with this, formemost I am Adam, although most people do not truly know or understand me. To a point it is best this way. This year I have met someone who knows me, understands me, and loves me. What was to be a dismal year turned out to be my best year.

Karma, or cause and effect, results in whatever destiny has for us. Every choice I have made, whether good or bad, has led me to this point, led me to her. Strength derives in our ability to express feelings. Leadership comes from discipline, resourcefullness, and foresight. Humility and wisdom are virtues that are learned through experience and understanding the importance of these can enable personal enlightenment towards everyday success.

 Lessons are to be learned every day, and although life can be harsh and unbearable at times, the journey is more important than the destination. 

Life can present any advesary to me, circumstance or person, I will prevail!
